DIDE participation in the Global Public Health Challenge 2024

Mr. Alvan Coker, our Emergency Preparedness & Response Officer, overseeing events related to meningococcal meningitis within the Division of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology, is currently in Washington D.C. participating in the Global Public Health Challenge track of the prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) of 2024.

Funded by the U.S. Department of State, the IVLP stands as a premier professional exchange program, dedicated to fostering enduring relationships between current and emerging foreign leaders across various sectors and their American counterparts.This year’s Global Public Health Challenge track has attracted participants from around the globe, gathering experts to delve into critical practices and strategies in managing communicable diseases.
